Position Summary
The Security Guard will be responsible for securing a construction site office, monitoring for unauthorized entry, managing visitor access, and controlling traffic during peak hours. This is a permanent, full-time position with rotating shifts.
Job Responsibilities
- Secure construction site office premises and personnel by patrolling the property
- Monitor surveillance equipment; inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
- Permit entry to authorized personnel only
- Prevent unauthorized entry, intrusion, and acts of vandalism
- Prevent abuse of facilities provided by occupiers, including visitors
- Conduct crowd and vehicle traffic control
- Control and direct traffic movements during morning and evening peak hours
- Ensure all personnel register at designated security counters and issue visitor passes
- Conduct audit checks on security passes to ensure only authorized vehicles and personnel gain access
- Enforce Safe Management Measures (SMM) and health monitoring of all entrants
Security Guard Job Requirements
- Minimum Secondary education
- Valid PLRD (Police Licensing & Regulatory Department) Security License required
- At least 1 year of working experience in a related field
- Able to commence work on short notice
- Able to perform 2 rotating shifts
Working Conditions & Schedule
This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift system involving 2 rotating shifts. Duties include peak-hour traffic control during mornings and evenings.
