Role overview

Checkout.com is a fintech platform processing over 10 billion transactions yearly for major companies including eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. As a Senior Analyst, Process Architect, you will transform complex payment and digital-asset products into scalable, controlled operations. You’ll design end-to-end workflows by translating product and regulatory requirements into actionable processes, working across Risk, Compliance, and Merchant Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end process design and redesigns for new product launches across operational functions including Risk, Compliance, and Merchant Operations.
Translate product, regulatory, and technical requirements into actionable processes, controls, and handoffs that drive operational execution.
Establish operational foundations for new digital-asset and stablecoin capabilities by collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Merchant teams to create clear, executable processes.
Apply crypto, blockchain, and fintech knowledge to build safe, scalable, and compliant operations for digital-asset products.
Structure ambiguous problems, identify operational risks, and align cross-functional stakeholders around shared objectives.
Establish governance frameworks, define performance metrics, implement controls, and design automated workflows using AI and modern tooling to scale operations.

Requirements

At least three years of experience in process design or operational excellence driving transformation initiatives in fintech.
Strong background in digital assets, cryptocurrency (specifically stablecoin), blockchain technology, and implementing regulated payment capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to apply structured process methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to solve complex, ambiguous operational problems.
Proven track record working across multiple operational functions including Risk, Compliance, and Merchant servicing to support cross-functional requirements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority, communicating effectively across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools, agents, and automation to transform operational processes into scalable workflows.
