Role overview

Wealthsimple, Canada’s leading financial innovator serving over 4 million clients and holding more than $169 billion in assets under administration, is seeking a Senior Lead for Credit Card Growth. In this remote position based in Canada, you will drive the acquisition strategy and execution for new credit card clients, owning growth targets and building the systems that bring customers to the product.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain the financial growth model for hitting new credit card client targets, and translate that into a clear, prioritized roadmap.
Own acquisition across all channels including paid, search, affiliates, referrals, lifecycle, and partnerships, either partnering with existing channel owners or directly executing where no owner exists.
Develop and optimize sign-up offers, welcome bonuses, referral incentives, and other promotional mechanics through a high-velocity experimentation program.
Analyze the acquisition and application funnel to identify conversion opportunities and work with the Product team to prioritize initiatives with the greatest impact.
Take accountability for hitting new-client targets, tracking where growth originates, identifying gaps, and determining what changes are needed to close them.

Requirements

Proven track record of building growth playbooks from the ground up, owning ambitious targets, and consistently exceeding them.
Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible growth results through execution, not solely through strategy development or program management.
Highly analytical and hands-on approach to growth, experimentation, forecasting, and day-to-day execution.
Channel-agnostic mindset with willingness to use any channel that works and build new ones if needed.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to drive results through Product and channel teams without direct authority over them.
