Role overview

Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead its Voice AI products, a rapidly expanding business line that represents a critical direction for the company’s future. Jobber serves small business owners in trades like landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning, providing software that keeps their operations running smoothly. You’ll focus primarily on Receptionist, Jobber’s flagship Voice AI product, which has grown from launch to a multi-million dollar business in under two years and now handles thousands of calls weekly for service professionals.

Key responsibilities

Own the product strategy and execution for Receptionist and related Voice products, taking the offering from early adopters to mainstream adoption across Jobber’s customer base.
Define and maintain the roadmap for Voice products, balancing near-term opportunities with long-term innovation as the product evolves from call answering to broader office management capabilities.
Synthesize market data, regulatory requirements, and customer insights to inform product decisions that deliver measurable value to small business owners and office managers.
Collaborate with specialists in Voice AI, telephony, and communications to design and launch competitive products.
Serve as the primary voice of the customer, advocating for the needs of small service business owners who depend on Jobber to manage their communications and operations.
Build the foundation for a multi-product communications strategy as the Voice business scales and expands its feature set.
Drive business impact through product decisions, focusing on revenue generation, customer attachment, and long-term customer value.

Requirements

Demonstrated ownership of a revenue line, including responsibility for metrics such as attach rate, pricing strategy, or packaging decisions rather than engagement metrics alone.
Hands-on experience shipping and iterating on a production large language model, machine learning feature, or AI-driven product.
Sufficient technical depth to engage meaningfully in architectural discussions about AI models, prompts, and data pipelines.
Senior-level product management experience with a proven track record of shipping products and following them through to measurable long-term outcomes.
Experience scaling products from early stage through growth and maturity.

Desirable experience

Background in telephony or contact center systems, including knowledge of SIP, IVR, call routing, carrier management, and phone number provisioning.
Track record building consumer-facing conversational products.
Familiarity with vertical SaaS, small-to-medium business software, or home and field services industries.

The compensation package reflects your experience and the role’s complexity, with a base salary range of $145,900 to $197,400, complemented by equity rewards, health and wellness stipends, retirement savings matching, and fully paid extended health coverage.
