Based in Toronto, you’ll work within the People department to scale Jobber’s technical teams using modern recruitment practices and inclusive hiring methods. Jobber helps small service businesses run their operations through software that enables quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payment collection.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the complete recruiting pipeline for technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, coaching hiring managers, and closing candidates.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers by understanding their team needs deeply and developing recruitment strategies that deliver strong results.
  • Apply performance-based and competency-driven interview approaches to identify candidates with both relevant skills and alignment to company values.
  • Research, test, and implement new recruitment tools and emerging technologies—including AI solutions—that improve speed, insight, or candidate experience while maintaining a human-centered focus.
  • Analyze quantitative metrics such as funnel conversions, time to fill, and pass-through rates alongside qualitative candidate feedback to identify improvement opportunities and influence stakeholders.
  • Build diverse talent pipelines through strategic sourcing campaigns, events, and sustained outreach to underrepresented communities.
  • Embed equitable and unbiased practices throughout the recruitment process and coach hiring teams on inclusive hiring standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven full-cycle technical recruiting experience in Software Engineering, Product Design, Product Management, or related disciplines within SaaS or high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated track record delivering quality hires across multiple technical role types while managing complexity and pace without sacrificing detail.
  • Data-informed mindset with understanding of funnel metrics, hiring trends, and ability to use insights to influence improvements.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools to build concrete solutions in your own recruiting practice—such as sourcing workflows, screening tools, automations, or prompt libraries—with ability to speak specifically to what you built and its impact.
  • Strong communication and creative sourcing skills with ability to tell compelling stories that connect and drive action.
  • Excellent relationship-building capabilities, including ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and advocate for inclusive hiring practices.
  • Deep commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through offer stage.
