Kpler is a global intelligence platform founded in 2014 that transforms complex data into actionable insights for the commodities, energy, and maritime sectors. As an Account Manager for the SME segment, you will drive commercial expansion by identifying new business opportunities, demonstrating platform capabilities, and closing deals with clients across Northwest Europe and the broader EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SME segment using a proactive approach to business development.
Demonstrate Kpler’s maritime intelligence platform capabilities to prospective clients and articulate the value of our solutions.
Close high-impact deals and consistently achieve growth quotas through effective sales execution.
Manage structured account relationships while maintaining a hunter mentality to expand the customer base.
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Empower trade leaders by providing them with actionable data and insights to support their strategic decisions.

Requirements

Proven track record in account management or sales, particularly with experience serving SME clients.
Strong ability to combine business development initiatives with account management responsibilities.
Demonstrated success in closing deals and exceeding sales quotas.
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of or genuine interest in the maritime, commodities, or energy sectors.
