Etihad Airways is seeking an Airport Duty Officer to join its operations team in Abu Dhabi. In this supervisory position, you will oversee airport operations across all shifts, leading teams to deliver exceptional service while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support airport operational teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences and seamless airport operations across all shifts.
Oversee critical operational areas while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges in the 24/7 environment.
Monitor and optimise operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a culture of excellence and innovation.
Develop supervisory and leadership capabilities through hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to best practices across Etihad’s operations.
Adapt to evolving operational needs and diverse working environments across the airport network.

Requirements

UAE national aged 21 or older with a valid family book.
Bachelor’s degree completed within the last three years.
Completion or permanent exemption certificate from UAE National Service (for males).
Fluent in English in both written and spoken communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
Willingness to wear the Etihad uniform and openness to working at airports outside the UAE.
