Role overview

Everpure is expanding its Cloud Native and Portworx service delivery across the EMEA region, and this position offers a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for an experienced architect in Dubai. Working within the Services & Support department, you will be the primary technical resource embedded with customers and delivery teams, supporting the full lifecycle of Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, PX-DR, and modern virtualization implementations for enterprise organizations across METCA and EMEA.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with Delivery Architects and Solution Architects to conduct design workshops, gather customer technical requirements, and document existing environments to inform implementation strategies.
Design, deploy, and configure Kubernetes clusters and Portworx solutions across customer environments using best practices, Kubernetes manifests, and Helm charts on platforms including OpenShift, Rancher, VKS, and other orchestrators.
Ensure Portworx solutions are properly configured against underlying storage platforms and optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability while supporting CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows.
Serve as the initial point of contact for Portworx support inquiries and enhancement requests, working with Portworx Support and Product Engineering teams to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer experiences.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to customer teams, support pre-production testing and validation, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Collaborate with Certified Delivery Partners and customer teams to coordinate delivery efforts and contribute field experience back into repeatable procedures and templates that standardize delivery quality.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments and building containerized solutions.
Proven track record of supporting enterprise customers directly, including comfort working on customer sites and in production environments.
In-depth experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments with proficiency in at least one platform such as OpenShift, Rancher, or Mirantis.
Linux system administration experience with distributions including RHEL, SLES, Debian, or Ubuntu.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing, plus knowledge of software-defined storage concepts such as NFS, Block, and iSCSI.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitOps, or Argo, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and Chef.
Demonstrated expertise in DevOps practices and a comprehensive understanding of the cloud-native technology landscape.
