Senior AI Architect

Role overview

MultiBank Group is seeking a Senior AI Architect to design and build the comprehensive AI and data platform supporting the organization’s AI products. This is a hands-on, foundational technical role requiring expertise in data engineering, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML systems to establish enterprise-scale architecture and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI platform architecture encompassing data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, serving, monitoring, and retraining as an integrated production system
• Build data lakehouse architecture on AWS using Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg with Databricks, along with batch and streaming pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, and Kafka
• Architect feature store infrastructure with online and offline stores, point-in-time joins, and feature versioning capabilities
• Own AWS cloud infrastructure for AI and data workloads, including multi-account strategy, EKS cluster design, GPU compute, and cost governance
• Build MLOps platform covering experiment tracking, training automation, model deployment standards, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring with drift detection
• Establish AI services layer with reusable inference APIs, model serving infrastructure, and API gateway configuration including authentication and rate limiting
• Set engineering standards, mentor team members, and lead technical decisions as senior technical authority for the AI Initiative

Requirements

• 15+ years experience across data engineering, software engineering, and AI/ML systems, with 3-5 years in a senior architecture role
• Proven track record building and shipping production AI systems end-to-end
• Deep hands-on data engineering background including production data pipelines, data lakehouses, and feature stores
• Expert-level AWS skills in multi-service architecture design and implementation
• Strong software engineering discipline with production-quality Python and SQL expertise and distributed systems understanding
• Experience leading technical team building, mentoring, and setting engineering standards
• Fintech experience preferred
