Position Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to monitor for suspicious activity and maintain hospital safety
• Control access points and verify identities to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detectors to screen patients, visitors, staff, and contractors

Hospital Tactical Security Guard Job Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Saskatchewan Security Guard License certificate (or willing to obtain — GardaWorld can assist with the process)
• Clear criminal background check
• First Aid/CPR certification considered an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Ability to work independently and remain alert in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
