Role overview

This position manages cargo revenue strategy across a regional portfolio of routes at Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline based in Abu Dhabi. You will lead a team of Revenue Analysts while optimizing utilization across freighter capacity, belly space, and revenue-from-space offerings. The role bridges revenue management with network planning, commercial operations, and pricing to align cargo strategy with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Revenue Analysts responsible for managing a regional route portfolio.
Monitor key portfolio metrics including load factor and SCB, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and team reviews to validate revenue management strategies and reinforce performance-based accountability.
Manage capacity utilization across the assigned area, overseeing allocation strategy, demand steering, and disruption recovery.
Review and validate Entry Conditions with analysts before flights open and monitor booking trends post-launch to ensure market alignment.
Collaborate with Pricing, Network Planning, Operations, and Commercial teams to address capacity changes, revenue opportunities, and performance issues.
Lead the rollout of the new revenue management system, including training and adoption, while feeding back improvements to optimize user experience and workflow.
Support strategic initiatives such as seasonal planning, process improvements, and analytics enhancements.

Requirements

University degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional experience in Inventory or Revenue Management.
Minimum of five years’ experience working in the airline industry.
At least three years of experience in Cargo Revenue Management, ideally.
