Role overview

This Solutions & Analytics Analyst position sits within Etihad Airways’ Solutions & Innovation team, bridging Revenue Management, Technology and Data functions. You’ll drive initiatives that transform how the airline forecasts, optimizes and manages inventory across its global network as part of the Journey 2030 transformation program. This role combines commercial expertise with advanced analytics and technology to design innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance commercial systems, processes and decision frameworks through automation, analytics and emerging technologies.
Provide ongoing support for inventory-related Revenue Management systems, ensuring they evolve in alignment with commercial priorities.
Collaborate with Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define business requirements and shape future product roadmaps.
Manage system enhancements, upgrades, testing and production releases while maintaining business continuity.
Monitor inventory optimization performance, user behavior and forecasting accuracy, recommending improvements to enhance commercial outcomes.
Calibrate forecasting models, optimization parameters and inventory controls to maximize revenue opportunities.
Maintain high data quality standards, governance and usability across Revenue Management platforms and translate analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a related field.
Minimum four years of relevant experience, with airline industry experience being desirable.
Hands-on experience with inventory optimization and availability management systems.
Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Databricks or equivalent platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Demonstrated success delivering projects while managing competing operational demands.
Experience with Revenue Management platforms including Amadeus, Sabre or PROS is advantageous, as is exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or GCP and delivery of automation or AI-enabled commercial solutions.
