Scalapay is a fast-growing fintech company, and this internship offers the opportunity to work directly within the Risk team on real merchant evaluation and portfolio management. Key responsibilities

Monitor the health of the merchant portfolio by building reports and tracking key metrics, then recommend solutions to address emerging issues.
Contribute to strategic projects that directly influence how merchants are onboarded and managed based on actual business requirements.
Investigate merchants on a daily basis to identify suspicious patterns and emerging trends that could lead to losses, enabling the team to respond quickly.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Proficiency with Excel and SQL for data analysis and modeling purposes.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools for analytical and modeling work.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify patterns in data.
Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for different audiences.
Meticulous attention to detail and demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables.
Fluent English proficiency, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively across the organization.
