Role overview

This position leads sales operations across the Milan region and a cluster of countries for Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline. You will oversee the implementation of sales strategies and programs designed to drive revenue growth while managing a team of country and sales managers across your area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

Participate in defining sales strategy and objectives that align with Etihad’s overall goals and market trends.
Develop and monitor sales plans across assigned markets to ensure consistent implementation and achievement of revenue targets.
Set area-specific sales targets and identify appropriate sales channels to maximize Etihad’s market contribution.
Manage intermediary activities and coordinate with travel agencies, corporate customers, and government authorities to maintain brand positioning and regulatory compliance.
Lead the sales team to achieve agreed targets and develop sales and marketing initiatives that drive key revenue goals.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients through top-level meetings and oversee contract portfolio management to improve market positioning.
Monitor sales performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and manage sales incentive schemes for your assigned area.
Coach and develop your managerial team to strengthen leadership capabilities and drive revenue growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or minimum seven years of relevant professional experience.
Aviation industry experience is preferred.
Legal right to live and work in Italy, with EU or Italian citizenship required.
Fluency in Italian language.
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
