Role overview

This position is part of Etihad Cargo’s pricing team, responsible for managing cargo network pricing and offer strategies across assigned regions. The role directly supports the achievement of Etihad Cargo’s revenue objectives through data-driven pricing decisions and strategic market analysis.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement seasonal pricing strategies for the region in collaboration with regional commercial teams, taking into account market forecasts and Etihad Cargo’s business plan.
Set pricing by flow, rate type, customer and product, and identify opportunities for tactical pricing promotions.
Create and manage the portfolio of offers for assigned routes, evaluate their performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor and track pricing performance and capacity allocations across the portfolio.
Evaluate and approve spot rates based on current market trends and shipment requirements, ensuring decisions optimize contribution for Etihad Cargo.
Analyze route performance by monitoring load factors and business mix to maintain optimal results.
Support regional commercial teams in achieving revenue targets and prepare pricing proposals for customer global tenders.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives including new product launches, strategic business projects, and system improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree qualification.
Minimum two years of experience in revenue management or related analytical roles.
Demonstrated knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing methodologies, modelling techniques, cargo revenue management systems, and flight planning.
Strong numerical and quantitative skills.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency working with complex systems and platforms.
