Role overview

Geotab is a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, processing billions of data points daily to help businesses manage their fleets more effectively. This Quality Assurance Analyst position is based in Dubai with full relocation support available for candidates outside the UAE, and will focus on manual testing and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes within the Video department.

Key responsibilities

Design, create and execute manual test cases using appropriate quality assurance techniques.
Identify, document, track and resolve quality issues and defects throughout the development process.
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and validate test cases based on recommended changes.
Proactively identify testing risks and recommend improvements to product development and quality assurance processes.
Manage test coverage, environments, test creation and maintenance across assigned projects.
Organize, prioritize and coordinate testing efforts within the team while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Remain current with new testing technologies and contribute to improving existing quality solutions.

Requirements

Between one and three years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Analyst or in a comparable role.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Demonstrated understanding of and exposure to various QA practices, processes and tools.
Expertise in at least one area such as QA Automation, Manual Testing, Security Testing, Performance Testing or Agile QA.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while remaining organized under pressure and adapting to changing deadlines.
