Role overview

Secure Code Warrior is an AI Software Governance platform that helps organizations manage how their software is created, build developer capability, and reduce risk before code reaches production. As a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region based in Sydney, you will be the first point of contact for prospects interested in the company’s solutions, qualifying inbound leads and scheduling meetings with the sales team.

Key responsibilities

Respond promptly to inbound leads generated through the company website, events, and marketing programs across the APAC region.
Qualify prospects by asking targeted questions to understand their needs and determine fit for the sales team.
Follow up with interested prospects to maintain engagement and move them through the initial sales pipeline.
Book and schedule qualified meetings between prospects and Account Executives on the APAC Sales team.
Collaborate with Revenue Marketing to understand what is driving inbound interest and refine lead qualification criteria.
Work with APAC Sales to ensure that meetings scheduled are relevant and valuable for the sales team.
Provide clean handoffs to Account Executives with well-documented prospect information and insights.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to work at speed while exercising sound judgment in lead qualification decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage prospects authentically and ask probing questions.
Natural curiosity and genuine interest in understanding customer needs and pain points.
Experience managing inbound leads and converting interest into sales meetings.
Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to align on goals and processes.
