Senior Account Executive – Energy/Commodities

Role overview

As a Senior Account Executive for Energy and Commodities in Northwest Europe, you will drive new business growth by identifying and closing deals with major players in maritime and commodity trading, taking complete ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy and commodities sectors across Northwest Europe through proactive outbound prospecting.
• Own the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract closure, managing relationships with maritime and commodity industry leaders.
• Present Kpler’s intelligence solutions to prospects and demonstrate how the platform addresses complex trade data challenges specific to their business.
• Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships that generate sustained revenue and account growth.
• Contribute to Kpler’s overall expansion by successfully converting target accounts into paying clients.

Requirements

• Proven track record in enterprise or mid-market sales, ideally within energy, commodities, maritime, or related technology sectors.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills with the ability to generate leads and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
• Demonstrated success closing significant deals and building long-term client relationships as an individual contributor.
• Commercial acumen and passion for solving complex problems within global trade and data-driven industries.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
