Role overview

Scale AI is seeking a New Graduate Software Engineer to join its Global Public Sector team in Doha, Qatar. Scale develops reliable AI systems and provides high-quality data and full-stack technologies that power leading AI models for enterprises and governments worldwide, including Meta, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the Government of Qatar. As a new graduate, you will own meaningful, customer-facing projects from day one, shipping products and iterating rapidly based on direct customer feedback.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines that support frontier model development.
Develop evaluation infrastructure that measures and ensures model reliability for enterprise and public sector customers.
Ship agentic AI applications and create tooling to make them observable, testable, and safe for deployment.
Design and implement fraud-detection systems to maintain the safety and integrity of Scale’s contributor base.
Build user-facing UI/UX tooling combined with machine learning algorithms for large-scale task management.
Develop AI infrastructure products that enable customers to visualize, query, and explore Scale data.
Create customer-facing applications such as RAG-based customer service systems and churn prediction integrations.

Requirements

Expected graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
Demonstrated product engineering experience, including building full-stack web applications, integrating APIs and services, and determining product direction through customer interaction.
Previous internship experience in product or software engineering roles.
Proven track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
Experience building systems that handle large volumes of data.
Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.
