Role overview

Etihad Airways is seeking a Solutions & Analytics Analyst – Pricing to support its Revenue & Commercial team in Abu Dhabi. This role combines technical development with business problem-solving, focusing on the systems and tools that enable pricing operations across the airline. You will work at the intersection of business requirements and technology implementation, contributing to Etihad’s Journey 2030 growth strategy through smarter, more efficient commercial solutions.

Key responsibilities

Develop scripts, prototypes, analytical tools, and automation solutions that enhance pricing processes and operational efficiency.
Partner with Pricing and Revenue Management teams to understand business challenges, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
Support the full lifecycle of pricing and Revenue Management systems, including development, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
Investigate system issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and coordinate solutions to maintain system performance and user experience.
Analyze operational data, system performance, and pricing activities to identify improvement opportunities and drive better business outcomes.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical models that support decision-making and monitor business performance.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, system releases, and enhancements while ensuring solutions align with business needs.
Collaborate with external technology vendors to develop system enhancements, resolve technical issues, and introduce new capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional knowledge and demonstrated capability.
Hands-on experience with programming, scripting, data analysis, or technical solution development using tools such as Python, SQL, or R.
Experience developing or supporting analytical models, dashboards, automation tools, prototypes, or business applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to investigate technical issues and translate findings into actionable solutions.
Demonstrated confidence and technical capability to work directly with code and data rather than managing technical projects from a distance.
Ability to understand business requirements and collaborate effectively with users, technology teams, and external vendors.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences.
