Role overview

As a Business Development Analyst, you will manage sales channel performance across assigned markets for Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline. Working from Abu Dhabi, you’ll collaborate with sales leadership, revenue management, and commercial teams to drive quality revenue growth across the B2B segment while supporting the airline’s strategic expansion objectives.

Key responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies, incentive programs, corporate agreements, and pricing initiatives to optimize performance.
Track and document sales actions taken across your portfolio, measuring their impact on market share, revenue, and incremental growth.
Develop and oversee robust sales plans for assigned countries, ensuring alignment with global organizational guidelines.
Monitor market and competitive activity across all segments and channels, identifying opportunities and threats with detailed analysis of performance drivers.
Maintain quality assurance standards for sales CRM systems, sales tools, and data sources used by the team.
Create action plans for assigned markets based on data insights and market intelligence.
Facilitate regular communication of market insights between local sales teams and headquarters to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

University degree in a related discipline.
Minimum four years of professional experience in a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong data modelling capabilities.
Excellent analytical and business acumen to interpret complex data and market trends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills with cultural awareness and understanding.
