Solutions Architect - Public Sector

Role overview

Cohere is a security-first enterprise AI company building foundation models and end-to-end products to solve real-world business challenges. As a Solutions Architect in Public Sector, you will drive growth in Cohere’s public sector business, owning technical pre-sales and post-sales relationships with government customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

Develop deep understanding of customer business problems and map them to Cohere’s AI solutions as the trusted technical advisor.
Lead technical discussions on customer calls and conduct deep dives into customer challenges and Cohere’s technology capabilities.
Design and build customer Proof of Concepts that demonstrate the business value of Cohere’s platform using cutting-edge NLP technology.
Facilitate customer evaluations and serve as the primary liaison between customers and Cohere’s product and engineering teams.
Identify areas for product improvement based on customer feedback and cultivate technical champions within customer organizations to drive adoption.
Develop and document processes that enable the solutions architect team to scale effectively across the organization.
Collaborate with partners to develop strategies for enabling and accelerating their customer adoption of Cohere solutions.

Requirements

Active security clearance required.
Five or more years of customer-facing technical pre-sales and post-sales solutions architect experience in the public sector.
Two or more years of hands-on experience architecting or deploying NLP, AI, or large language model solutions.
Strong passion for generative AI with a clear understanding of both the strengths and limitations of generative LLMs and AI technologies.
Comfortable working with Python and Jupyter Notebooks for hands-on solution development.
Excellent communication skills with ability to present effectively to C-level executives and engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
High tolerance for ambiguity and demonstrated ability to identify and implement high-impact processes in unstructured environments.
