Role overview

As a Staff Travel Officer at Etihad Airways, you will manage the end-to-end coordination of employee travel arrangements. Your responsibilities span from creating travel quotations and processing bookings to managing modifications and resolving travel-related issues. You will ensure that all staff travel requests are handled with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organizational policies while meeting service expectations across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Review staff travel requests and eligibility criteria to generate accurate quotations and travel options that comply with policy, budget constraints, and service standards.
Process approved travel bookings, amendments, and ticketing transactions while verifying that itineraries, fare conditions, and traveler information are accurate and properly recorded in system.
Liaise with airlines, hotels, and travel partners to confirm availability, finalize arrangements, and promptly resolve any booking complications or requested changes.
Track fare movements, travel restrictions, blackout dates, and supplier promotions to identify the most cost-effective and policy-compliant options for each travel request.
Answer employee and internal team inquiries regarding booking quotations, confirmation status, itinerary modifications, and travel benefits with clear and consistent information.
Maintain comprehensive travel records, documentation, and tracking systems, and produce regular reports detailing booking volumes, policy exceptions, and service performance trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in aviation, logistics, or hospitality.
Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in load control, freighter operations, ground handling, or airport operations.
Demonstrated experience coordinating with operational teams in time-sensitive and safety-critical settings.
Prior experience creating and maintaining operational documentation, load planning records, or flight support materials.
Fluent English language capability; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
