Job Overview
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Storekeeper to join its team at The Pearl Island in Doha, Qatar.
This position supports the hotel’s daily receiving, storage, inventory, and supply operations. The Storekeeper will receive deliveries, check merchandise for quality and freshness, organize stock, and make sure supplies reach the correct hotel departments.
This is a full-time, non-management position, and the employer states that no related work experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise and stage it for the appropriate departments.
- Check deliveries for quantity, freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
- Properly store perishable items and rotate stock when required.
- Reject damaged, incorrect, or unacceptable deliveries.
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Deliver merchandise and supplies to the appropriate departments.
- Stack received goods safely on pallets or carts.
- Keep refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains clean and sanitized.
- Follow food safety and proper food-handling procedures.
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in designated areas.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company information and assets.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments to support daily operations.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Physical Requirements
The role involves being on your feet or moving around for extended periods during the workday. Employees may need to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) without assistance.
The position may also require working in narrow or confined spaces, using stairs and service ramps, and moving across uneven or slippery surfaces.
Requirements
