Role overview

BEUMER Group, a global leader in intralogistics systems, seeks a CMMS Spare Parts Coordinator for its Customer Support team in Toronto. This full-time position manages the computerized maintenance management system and spare parts operations for the baggage handling system at Toronto Pearson International Airport, ensuring optimal inventory levels and maintenance scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and record spare parts inventory within the CMMS (MAXIMO) system, ensuring accurate stock levels as specified by original equipment manufacturers.
  • Receive and process incoming vendor shipments by verifying documentation and transporting items to designated storage areas using material-handling equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and organize spare parts and equipment throughout the parts room and maintenance areas.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships with both internal and external partners, sourcing quality parts while negotiating competitive rates.
  • Track and analyze parts movement, conduct cycle counts, and maintain records of warranty coverage and faulty parts for analysis.
  • Create reports and data analysis tools for work orders and inventory management, tracking monthly key performance indicators using Excel and Power BI.
  • Coordinate daily with operational and maintenance staff on CMMS activities, provide system training to users, troubleshoot technical faults, and act as the primary interface between BEUMER and airport stakeholders on maintenance and inventory matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of professional experience with CMMS systems and spare parts management.
  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license with the ability to operate a company truck for parts transportation.
  • Valid forklift license and demonstrated capability to safely operate material-handling equipment and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain RAIC and AVOP permits required for Pearson Airport access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and strong Excel and Power BI skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse personalities.
  • SAP experience in inventory, purchasing, materials, or maintenance is preferred.
