Role overview

Practice Better is seeking a Director of Revenue Operations to lead the systems, data, and processes that drive the company’s go-to-market engine. As a remote-first platform serving tens of thousands of health and wellness practitioners across 70+ countries, Practice Better combines EHR and practice management capabilities with nutrition planning tools acquired in 2023. This role reports directly to the President and sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, customer success, and payments to create a unified, data-driven revenue motion.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models for subscription, payments, and add-on products in partnership with finance leadership, connecting marketing pipeline and churn drivers to annual recurring revenue projections.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the revenue technology stack including HubSpot, marketing automation, payments platforms, product analytics, and business intelligence tools, then establish and execute a rolling optimization roadmap.
  • Map and instrument the product-led growth to sales-assist to expansion funnel, establishing common definitions, service-level agreements, and dashboards that track stage-conversion metrics across the entire pipeline.
  • Automate lead-to-cash, renewal, and expansion workflows while ensuring data quality, attribution logic accuracy, and compensation engine functionality across all systems.
  • Partner with Marketing on pricing and packaging tests, with Product on usage-to-revenue insights, and with Payments on take-rate optimization initiatives.
  • Define organizational OKRs, reporting cadences, and operational playbooks that enable Growth, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to operate from a single source of truth.
  • Own improvement in funnel conversion rates, PQL scoring models, and routing efficiency, with targets including sub-5-minute PQL-to-SDR assignment and at least 3 percentage points of annual improvement in MQL-to-SQL and SQL-to-Closed-Won conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Five to eight or more years of hands-on Revenue Operations experience at SaaS companies currently operating between $30–100M in annual recurring revenue, with direct experience scaling through this growth stage.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise with HubSpot as a CRM platform, alongside proficiency with modern go-to-market stack tools including marketing automation, product-led analytics, business intelligence, configure-price-quote solutions, and subscription billing systems.
  • Proven ability to transform complex data into board-quality forecasts and documented success unlocking double-digit efficiency improvements across multiple funnel stages.
  • Experience supporting pricing and packaging migrations and establishing new revenue streams such as embedded payments, usage-based billing, or product add-ons.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and driving action, combined with analytical thinking and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
  • Background working in SaaS environments specifically, rather than professional services consultancies or RevOps agencies, ideally at companies with 250–300 employees or fewer.
