Role overview

Scale AI is developing enterprise-grade generative AI solutions for U.S. government national security missions. This Engagement Manager role focuses on leading and coordinating the delivery of agentic workflows to a national security customer, serving as the primary point of contact across all organizational levels while ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain customer relationships across executive leadership and end-user teams.
Work with customers to identify and scope agentic workflow use cases that engineering teams will develop and refine.
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver on and exceed the customer’s AI and machine learning objectives.
Proactively identify customer needs and operator pain points to drive success and take ownership of solutions.
Oversee account onboarding and manage day-to-day execution to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience.
Own or support large account plans and drive delivery of solutions that matter to national security operations.

Requirements

Hold an active TS/SCI clearance (Full Scope Polygraph is preferred).
Bring at least three years of professional experience succeeding in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles delivering enterprise-scale applications and solutions.
Demonstrate a track record of structured, analytics-driven problem solving.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be willing and able to travel up to 33 percent of the time (50 percent travel is preferred).
Ideally have a technical background in computer science, economics, statistics, or engineering, along with proven success in B2B client relationships and experience with government technical implementations.
