Role overview

Ayming Canada is a Business Performance Consulting Group with over 1,600 employees across 16 countries, operating offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary. This Business Development Manager position is part of building a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities across Canada. While an immediate opening may not be available, successful applicants will receive early consideration for relevant roles as they become available.

Key responsibilities

Research the market and develop your personal network to generate new leads for the organization.
Establish partnerships with incubators and other sources to secure referrals and expand the prospect pipeline.
Analyze prospects’ business environments, identify their challenges and strategic needs, and understand their pain points.
Develop value propositions tailored to address each prospect’s specific business situation and goals.
Manage the complete sales cycle from identifying decision makers through scheduling meetings and executing sales strategies.
Meet with qualified prospects and apply appropriate sales techniques to advance opportunities toward contract closure.

Requirements

Minimum three years of sales experience, preferably in software sales or consulting sales, or a background in engineering.
Demonstrated success using structured sales methodologies to generate leads, open new business opportunities, and manage sales cycles to completion.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with an independent mindset, strong perseverance, and proactive initiative.
Valid driver’s license and ownership of a vehicle.
Knowledge of success fee agreements is considered an asset.
