Role overview

Ayming Canada, part of an international management consulting group with over 1,600 employees across 14 countries, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Montreal. You will drive growth by identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales across Canada for the firm’s consulting services.

Key responsibilities

Generate business leads by researching the market, building your personal network, and establishing partnerships with incubators to secure referrals.
Assess the business context, challenges, strategic needs, and pain points of prospects to develop tailored value propositions that create positive impact.
Manage the complete sales cycle for all commercial opportunities from initial contact through contract signature.
Identify key decision-makers, schedule meetings with qualified prospects, and apply appropriate sales techniques and methodologies to close deals.

Requirements

Five to six years of experience in software sales, consulting services, or engineering background is preferred.
Demonstrated experience applying a sales methodology to generate leads, open doors, and manage the sales cycle through contract closure.
Strong motivation, results-oriented mindset, ability to work independently, perseverance, and strong initiative.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Bilingual fluency in French and English is required, as the role involves regular verbal and written communication with non-French-speaking clients across Canada.
Knowledge of success-based fee arrangements is an asset.
Demonstrated reliability, integrity, organization, rigor, proactivity, methodical approach, and problem-solving orientation.
