Role overview

Atlys is building an AI-powered platform to simplify visa applications and travel processes globally, having already assisted over 1 million travelers across 127 countries. As a Visa Consultant at the Dubai retail store, you will serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers, combining sales expertise with hands-on guidance to help travelers navigate their visa options and complete applications in-store.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage walk-in customers to understand their travel destinations and visa requirements.
  • Assist customers with completing visa applications on-site while ensuring all information is accurate and all required documentation is included.
  • Educate travelers on visa types, processing timelines, pricing, and how Atlys’ platform adds value to their application process.
  • Address customer questions and concerns with patience and professionalism, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Follow up with customers to provide updates on their application status and maintain engagement throughout the process.
  • Maintain store appearance, organization, and alignment with Atlys brand standards.
  • Stay informed on current visa regulations, travel policies, and Atlys product updates, and share feedback to improve the in-store experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or front-desk role, with prior experience in visa processing, travel agencies, immigration consultancies, or related travel services strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of visa categories, documentation requirements, processing timelines, and awareness of embassy procedures and destination-specific entry regulations.
  • Fluent English speaker with strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills; fluency in Hindi, Malayalam, and/or Tamil is highly preferred.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm and resolute when addressing urgent travel deadlines or application errors.
  • Proficiency with CRMs, digital application platforms, and support tools; tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing documents, verifying application information, and ensuring submissions are error-free.
  • Professional appearance and willingness to work rotational shifts on a 6-day work week schedule with 9-hour shifts and a 1-hour break.
