Account Executive – Energy

Role overview

Kpler is looking for an Account Executive specializing in energy to drive sales of its intelligence platform across North America. Since 2014, Kpler has built a global team of over 850 experts dedicated to simplifying complex trade data and delivering actionable insights for the commodities, energy, and maritime industries. This full-time position is based in Houston and focuses on acquiring new clients in the energy and chemicals sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy, oil, and chemicals markets across North America.
• Present and demonstrate Kpler’s intelligence platform to prospective clients, emphasizing its value as a disruptive solution in the commodities sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts.
• Develop tailored sales strategies to address client needs and market dynamics.
• Work toward closing deals and achieving sales targets for new customer acquisition.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in enterprise software sales or a similar B2B sales environment.
• Strong knowledge of or passion for the energy, oil, chemicals, or commodities industries.
• Proven track record of successfully closing new business deals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage C-suite and operational leaders.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while pursuing aggressive growth targets.
