Role overview

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Captain to operate the A330 aircraft as part of its rapidly expanding fleet. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will hold full command authority and responsibility for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of every flight, leading both flight and cabin crew while maintaining the airline’s standards of professionalism and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of all crew members, passengers, cargo, and aircraft throughout every flight operation.
Exercise complete command of the aircraft from taxi-out through final engine shutdown.
Lead flight and cabin crew with strong decision-making and effective crew resource management practices.
Operate the aircraft with efficiency and environmental responsibility in accordance with company fuel and sustainability policies.
Deliver consistent on-time performance to meet the airline’s reliability and guest satisfaction commitments.

Requirements

Minimum 7000 hours of total flying time across your career.
Minimum 2500 pilot-in-command hours as commander.
Minimum 1500 pilot-in-command hours on the A330 type.
A330 flying experience within the last 12 months.
Valid A330 type rating for at least two months from your joining date.
Unrestricted and current ICAO Airline Transport Pilot licence and Class 1 medical certificate.
English language fluency at Level 4 or higher in both written and verbal communication, and you must not have attained age 59 on your joining date.
