Role overview

Etihad Airways is seeking a Solutions & Analytics Analyst to join its Solutions & Innovation team and drive transformation in Revenue Management through Journey 2030. This role combines commercial expertise with technology and advanced analytics to optimize inventory management and support decision-making across the airline’s global network.

Key responsibilities

Identify and implement opportunities to enhance commercial systems, business processes and decision frameworks using automation, advanced analytics and new technologies.
Provide ongoing support for inventory-related Revenue Management systems and ensure they evolve in alignment with commercial priorities.
Work with Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define business requirements and shape future product roadmaps.
Manage system enhancements, upgrades, testing and production releases while minimizing disruption to business operations.
Monitor inventory optimization performance, user behaviour and forecasting outcomes to deliver recommendations that improve commercial results.
Calibrate forecasting models, optimization parameters and inventory controls to maximize revenue opportunities.
Translate complex analytical findings into practical commercial recommendations for business stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with airline industry experience desirable.
Hands-on experience with inventory optimization and availability management systems.
Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Databricks or equivalent platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects while managing operational priorities.
