Role overview
Checkout.com is a fintech payments platform that powers digital transactions for major global companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company processes over 10 billion transactions yearly and operates across 20 offices on six continents. This Enterprise Account Manager position is based in Riyadh and focuses on driving revenue and value for the company’s largest merchant clients across the Kingdom.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchant-specific growth plans aimed at generating tangible revenue and creating measurable value for enterprise clients.
- Perform detailed analyses of merchant payment data to identify opportunities for increasing acceptance rates, reducing false declines, and optimizing checkout performance.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand the company’s share of wallet within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain high-touch, consultative relationships with enterprise merchants to prevent churn and resolve complex business challenges.
- Engage in commercial negotiations with sophisticated enterprise stakeholders, handling objections while maintaining focus on long-term partnership value.
- Collaborate with Sales, Integration, Legal, and Product teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and support account success.
- Serve as a payments expert and brand ambassador, providing strategic guidance on global payment trends and solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum four years of experience in B2B Enterprise Account Management or Relationship Management roles within payments or digital-first businesses.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce, payment technologies, and emerging trends in the financial ecosystem.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets, reducing customer churn, and driving expansion revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage demanding enterprise stakeholders with resilience and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex transaction data into actionable merchant recommendations.
- Fluent English communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments while managing multiple competing priorities.
