Role overview
Satispay is a financial platform serving over 6.5 million users, offering payments, benefits, investing, cards, and more. As a FinCrime Analytics Engineer, you will own the data strategy that supports risk decision-making across the organization, ensuring analytical data is accessible, well-structured, and operationally aligned. This role requires relocation to the Luxembourg office.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop the Data Mesh layer by creating robust data models and building pipelines that integrate with the company’s federated data strategy while maintaining scalability and governed data ownership.
- Ensure high-quality data collection and manage large-volume batch processing to maintain optimal performance for dashboards and analytical models.
- Design and implement AI-powered agentic workflows for data transformation and exploration to accelerate analytical capabilities and enable self-service access for key stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives independently, translating technical insights into actionable outcomes and data model optimizations across diverse business requirements.
- Develop high-value features for the feature store using optimized code capable of processing and executing across large data volumes.
- Simplify complex data models into clear, efficient data relations that can be queried with SQL to improve performance and ensure high data quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- High proficiency in SQL, Python, Big Data, and distributed processing technologies.
- Hands-on experience building ETL data pipelines and working with tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Experience with Feature Stores, Graph Databases, and Machine Learning Engineering is a plus but not required.
