Role overview

Ayming Canada, part of an international Business Performance Consulting Group with over 1,600 employees across 16 countries, is building a pipeline of qualified candidates for Business Development Manager roles across their Canadian offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary. This full-time position focuses on generating new business through market research, partnership development, and consultative sales.

Key responsibilities

Research markets and build your personal network to generate qualified leads for the business.
Establish partnerships with incubators and similar organizations to develop referral sources.
Assess prospects’ business environments, challenges, and strategic needs to create value-based proposals that address their pain points.
Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through contract signature.
Identify decision makers within target organizations, schedule meetings, and execute sales techniques to move opportunities forward.

Requirements

Minimum three years of sales experience, ideally in software sales, consulting sales, or with an engineering background.
Demonstrated success using a sales methodology to generate leads, open new business opportunities, and manage sales cycles to closure.
Strong motivation, results-driven mindset, independent thinking, perseverance, and self-initiative.
Valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
Knowledge of success fee agreements is considered an asset.
