Role overview
Satispay is a financial platform serving over 6.5 million users, expanding beyond payments into savings, investments, and financial services. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer in the Consumer Wealth team, you will architect and build the systems that enable users to grow and manage their savings and investments through scalable, high-quality backend solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems that address complex financial engineering problems within the savings and wealth management backend infrastructure.
- Participate in architecting subsystems that power savings and investment features while maintaining consistency across products.
- Build relationships and drive technical alignment across teams to ensure smooth delivery of impactful features.
- Guide and mentor fellow engineers, promoting a culture of high-quality engineering and continuous improvement.
- Own work from conception through completion, directly contributing to helping users grow their wealth through your technical contributions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend software engineering experience in product-based companies, with proven success building and maintaining microservices and cloud environments.
- Deep expertise with Java or other object-oriented programming languages and strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Experience working with financial systems or transactional consistency is highly valued.
- Ability to communicate in a structured and persuasive manner, building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of sharing knowledge, reviewing code critically, and elevating technical standards within teams.
- Fluency in English and genuine enthusiasm for empowering users to build financial well-being through technology in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
